Angels of the Nativity Hermitage is a sacramental ministry within the independent sacramental movement dedicated to helping foster and nurture a deeper relationship with the Divine through prayer, celebrating the sacraments, and meditation.

Independent Catholic churches are churches not in communion with Rome or Eastern Orthodoxy, but possess valid Apostolic Succession.  While some are traditionalist, were formed to be a point of light in the growth of an individual’s soul.

We treasure the sacraments and the wisdom of the great Christian mystics and theologians but do not force our views on anyone or insist on obedience to particular dogmas.  Instead, we strive to help all those on the spiritual journey, encouraging them to decide for themselves what they believe in regard to ultimate truth.

We hold up love as the guiding principle and affirm that the sacraments are channels of grace which connect us to the deep love and energy of the living Christ. We welcome all people including those often on the margins of other religious organizations.

Rev. Fr. Donald Knight was ordained to the priesthood on September 29, 2012, at Gentle Shepherd Church in Richmond, VA. September 29 is a special day in the liturgical calendar as it is set aside to honor and celebrate the Feast of the Archangels – Michael, Rafael, Uriel, and Gabriel.
