Anima Mundi All Souls’ Day Novena – Day 9 – For Freedom and Justice

All creation carries a spark of the divine within them.  All creation reflects the divine and has dignity because of that spark of the divine deeply sealed within each of them.  All creation, should have the freedom to express their unique reflection of the divine as they live out this earthly journey.

Imagine for a moment, before we begin the ninth and final day of our novena prayers to the Anima Mundi — The World Soul for All Soul’s Day for freedom.  Imagine how your life would be different if you had more freedom in your life, more freedom for yourself, your brothers and sisters, your neighbors.

Imagine how different your life would be if you had greater liberty to discover and reflect that spark of the divine dwelling within you without unbearable control or restriction from what others may think about how you express it, what your religion may restrict you from expressing it, what your family may say and do to restrict you from faithfully expressing and reflecting and nurturing that Divine spark within.

Imagine how different our world would be if rather than criticizing those who do wrong or believe differently than we do if we honored and respected the divine spark within them and gave them the liberty and freedom to discover that within them and helped nourish the positive life building reflection of that divine spark within them.

Imagine for a moment how different our communities would be if we operated from a more freedom and liberty based motivation.  Imagine what it would be like if freedom and liberty motivated our actions, our thoughts, our words, our attitudes towards others.  Imagine how different it would be if all people, all creation had the freedom and liberty to discover, nourish and express their unique reflection of the Divine within them.  How different would it be if all people had the freedom and liberty to know, discover, and express that spark of the divine within them?

What image is illuminated in your consciousness as you imagine such increase of freedom and liberty across the cosmos?

Be attentive throughout the day of the ways freedom and liberty expresses itself in your life, in the cosmos and let that spark within you inflame your own reflection of freedom in the world today.

Let us pray:

Please join in praying the Novena in honor of the Anima Mundi — the world soul for All Souls’ Day and The US Election

Oh Anima Mundi, World Soul, by God’s favor we are born in this body to walk and live this earthly journey nurturing, preserving and reflecting the spark of the Divine within each and everyone of us and all of creation.

By grace, miracles are performed.

By love, we are protected from evil.

And so, we ask with humility and a beggar’s heart for increase of freedom and liberty within us and across our country and across the cosmos. May all have the freedom and liberty to discover, to nurture, to express, to reflect their unique spark of the divine within them.  The great freedom and liberty to reflect our spark of the divine is only made possible by your power, Oh Divine Spirit.

Increase in me desire to seek freedom and liberty for all to reflect their spark of the creative, life giving, affirming spark of the divine within each of them.

Anima Mundi you hold the world together through the Creator and the Redeemer with the Divine Love shared among each of you and for all creation, we ask for the grace of healing the divisions within our country, of healing and consoling all those who’ve lost loved ones to COVID-19 and are struggling with COVID-19, may souls of all those tragically lost to this pandemic know  Your Great Love, may we as a country return to being that beacon on the hill where freedom and liberty for all is fostered and lived out. Amen.

Oh Anima Mundi, fill our hearts with freedom and liberty and enkindle in in us the fire of love. Send forth your Spirit that we may be recreated so as to renew the face of the earth with the light of freedom and liberty shining brightly from ourselves for all, towards all, and within all.

O, God, who by the light of the Anima Mundi, hold the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Anima Mundi we may be truly wise and ever enjoy the consolations of all the constellations of family, of friends, of neighbors, of the stars all held together by your great love with the Anima Mundi and the Redeemer.  Amen.
